"Yes, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force. But beware of the dark side. Anger, fear, aggression; the dark side of the Force are they"-When training Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Jedi in "The Empire strikes back"
Biography[]
No one knows when Yoda was born, where he came from, and even when he joined the Jedi Order. But the High Council respects him as one of the most powerful Jedi Masters in the Disney multiverse. He himself has mentored several Jedis during his time in the Star Wars universe with his strength and wisdom. However, his abilities alone could not save the Jedi Order from the Great Jedi Purge that happened in his lifetime. After failing to kill Emperor Palpatine, he exiled himself to the swampy planet Dagobah. He stayed in the planet in isolation until the last Jedi, Luke Skywalker landed on the swamps of the planet. Eventually, after training the young man in the ways of the Jedi warriors during his self-imposed exile during the dark days when the tyrannical Empire reigned supreme, he became one with the Force and was accepted into the High Council's ranks.
Working with The High Council[]
While Yoda is a major member of the High Council from the former non-Disney universe of Lucasfilm, Zeus allowed him to go to the Star Tours spaceship in the Disney universe to help passengers on board get safely to the Rebel Alliance's only outpost in Disneyland. Sometimes, he gets to train recruits of the High Council in the ways of the Jedi. Other times, he simply dispenses wise advice to divine agents and recruits in dreams and visions or engage in discussion with the other High Council members. He also acts as Zeus's contact in the Disney multiverse due to their previous history. However, he also realizes that the galaxy has become too war torn, and the Jedi Order has evolved too far for him to easily step back into things, so he mostly tries to keep from directly interfering in the conflict, except for when he's called upon to fight the dark side.
Trivia[]
Not all Jedi who were trained under Yoda remain on the light side (or natural side whatever you call it), some such as Count Dooku left the Jedi Order and ended up serving the Devils.
