Oh come on, are you surprised? Someone as talented and cunning as Robin Hood wouldn't avoid the High Council's attention forever...especially now that he's itching for excitement since he beat John. He's much more mellow after his marriage, but he's still THE best archer in their ranks, and an excellent spy.
