The son of Anakin Skywalker, Luke grew up under his uncle owen and aunt beru (technically step-uncle). On his 19th year though, he was called into a wider world, and through his piloting skills, willingness to grow and mastery of the force, saved the galaxy from the empire. Although the empire was hurt after the battle of endor, Luke would remain active in the years following, not only founding the new jedi order, but fighting imperial warlords and even getting married. Luke would remain active all the years of his life, even having a son, and upon his death, becoming one with the force, just like his mentor Obi-Wan before him.
